This year the conference was held in digital format.

This year, young water professionals met again for the 12th time at the IWA Eastern European Young Water Professionals Conference. Since the event could not take place in Riga (Latvia) as originally planned due to the pandemic, the organizers brought the young water experts together on a digital platform. Correspondingly, the 2021 conference was titled “Water research and innovations in digital era”. With a total of 130 participants from 37 countries and 5 continents, the conference is becoming increasingly global.

Both the organizers and the sponsors, including WTE as a Golden Sponsor, as well as the participants gave their presentations on the digital platform and lively exchanged their experiences and know-how at digital round tables afterwards.

We will be pleased to be present at the conference again with technical presentations in order to showcase the interesting projects of WTE to the professional community. Our topics range from water and wastewater treatment to sludge treatment and operation optimization.
