On February 2015 the official ground-breaking ceremony of the Tivat-Kotor project was celebrated.
At the end of February, with a symbolic turn of the sod in the presence of numerous high-ranking guests WTE celebrated the start of the construction of the wastewater treatment plant for Tivat and Kotor in Montenegro.
On February 27, 2015 the official ground-breaking ceremony of the Tivat-Kotor project was celebrated. The contract has a total value of 10.2 Mil. EUR. Prior to this following an international procurement procedure WTE was selected as best bidder.
The ceremony was attended, among others, by the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the German Ambassador as well as the mayors of the two Montenegrin municipalities that in the future are going to have purified their wastewater in a joint wastewater treatment plant. This plant will be constructed in the south-eastern part of the peninsula Lustica in the community of Tivat and is dimensioned for a capacity of 72,500 Population equivalent.
