At the 14th MEED Projects Awards, our wastewater treatment plant was honoured as ‘Water Treatment Project of the Year’ and also received the coveted ‘MEED Project Award of the Year 2024’. The awards recognise outstanding engineering and construction achievements in the Middle East and North Africa region that demonstrate the highest standards in engineering, construction and project delivery and set benchmarks for the entire industry. A wonderful recognition of our work on the Umm Al Hayman project!
The award ceremony took place on 20 November in Dubai. Dr Axel Bowmann (Head of WTE Legal Department and Non-executive Director UAH Project Company), Hassan Choudhry (Chief Financial Officer, UAH Project Company) and Fahed AlZamanan (Admin Manager, UAH Project Company) were present from WTE and UAH Project Company to accept the awards.
