WTE Group reached an agreement with the government of the City of Moscow

WTE Group reached an agreement with the government of the city of Moscow regarding the sale of the Moscow sodium hypochlorite plant pursuant to which Mosvodokanal, the water supply and waste water disposal company of the city of Moscow, will take over the sodium hypochlorite plant from the project company of WTE Group, WTE Projektgesellschaft Natriumhypochlorit mbH. The sales price of EUR 250 million corresponds to the contract’s investment costs.

Currently the re-commissioning works will be prepared. The WTE team is already at the plant and ensures for a professional depreservation of the equipment, a smooth test operation and the subsequent commissioning of the entire sodium hypochlorite plant.

Upon completion of the sale WTE will withdraw the damage claim to the Federal Republic of Germany.
