In June 2016 WTE Wassertechnik GmbH, Essen was awarded the contract for the design and build of the waste water treatment plant of „Vodice – Tribunj – Srima“ by Vodovod i odvodnja Šibenik.
In Vodice WTE will construct a turnkey wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 20,000 PE and 4,620 m³/d. In addition to the mechanical and biological waste water treatment the contract includes the treatment of the sewage sludge. This environmental project, co-financed by EU-cohesion fund, will be completed within 25 months, contributing to a substantial improvement of the water quality of the Adriatic Sea.
