Third environmental project in Romania is finished.
In December 2015 WTE Wassertechnik GmbH finished the environmental project in Zalau. After Gherla / Huedin and Silvaniei already the third Romanian wastewater treatment system was successfully implemented and delivered.
The contract for the extension of WWTP Zalau was signed at the end of 2014.
The General Contractor Agreement included the completion and expansion of the existing plant to 85,000 EW. In addition to the mechanical and electrical equipment of the 2nd street WTE was responsible for the sludge treatment with subsequent use of biogas. The investment of approximately EUR 3.4 million was co-financed by the European Cohesion Fund.
